The United States Embassy condemns the murder of Juana Raimundo
In response to the murder of human rights activist and indigenous leader Juana Raimundo, the Embassy of the United States of America reiterates its strong condemnation of the series of violent attacks and killings targeting human rights defenders. We renew our call to Guatemalan authorities for a timely and thorough investigation into these murders to identify those responsible and bring them to justice as soon as possible.
