B FROG is Giving 15 Meals for Every Product Sold

B FROG a company that mixes distinct types of textiles creating unique, progressive and colorful apparel to consumers around the globe has donated thousands of meals to a poor rural village in Guatemala called Pajomel, this event took place on Friday the 18th of this present month.

With every B FROG product sold, 15 meals are donated to children in need. The company wants to make sure the children receive the meals directly. By distributing meals in schools, B FROG makes sure the children receive the fortified blended meals. It has been proven that children that receive proper nutrients increase class participation and develop better intellectual skills.

B FROG has implemented a School Feeding Program that delivers Fortified Blended Meals, training and supervision for staff. This consists in schools having all products necessary to prepare and serve, to the children a nutritional meal during school. These meals provide a strong incentive to send children to school, which means that the children will assist class and focus on their studies. So by fighting malnutrition we are also aiding education.

WHAT ARE FORTIFIED BLENDED MEALS?

Meals are based on high quality and renown products with high nutritional value; it provides a balanced formula of protein, carbohydrates and fat, source of fiber, vitamins and minerals

The meal consists of the mixture of cereal (as a caloric source) and a leguminous source (main source of protein) in the appropriate amounts in order to accomplish the adequate balance of essential amino acids and obtain an optimum quality protein. Some products are also fortified with minerals like chelated iron and zinc (99% of absorption), calcium, and vitamins A, E, C, K, D and B complex, including B12 and folic acid.
